New photovoltaic park in Aveiro: 700 tonnes of CO2 saved annually
Opening
On 1 October, the first Bosch photovoltaic park in Portugal was inaugurated at the Bosch Thermotechnology site in Aveiro. This great moment was attended by high-ranking guests, including the Portuguese Minister of State for the Economy and Digital Transformation, Pedro Siza Vieira. The event also included a visit of the production facility.

After all Bosch Thermotechnology locations have achieved climate neutrality in 2020, this is another milestone for the location and Bosch Thermotechnology.
The new Bosch photovoltaic park has:
- 2200 modules
- 1680 MWh annual electricity production
- 700 tonnes annual CO2 saving
- 17,000 m2 large
- 20% share of the plant's electricity consumption
