Manisa Plant generates its energy from the photovoltaic

The photovoltaic system installed on the roof of the Logistics Center at the Bosch Home Comfort Group Manisa Plant is the largest photovoltaic project within the entire Bosch Home Comfort Group division. Around 40 million Turkisch Lira were invested in the photovoltaic system that was installed at the plant in Manisa.

Solar energy will be generated using 3,654 550W panels, with a total installed power of 1.54 MWe AC, along with 14,110 kW inverters on the roof of the logistics center. It is anticipated that the photovoltaic system will produce approximately 2.6 GWh of electricity annually.

Haşiman Üsküdar, Technical Plant Manager of the Bosch Home Comfort Group plant in Manisa, emphasized the importance of energy in large industrial facilities as one of the most significant cost factors and stressed the importance of obtaining energy securely.

"As part of our sustainability efforts, we are developing projects to reduce our carbon footprint and secure energy from our own resources. With the photovoltaic system installed on the roof of our plant's logistics center, we will cover a substantial part of our annual electricity consumption."

Since 2019, various projects aimed at reducing energy consumption have been implemented at the plant, resulting in a total savings of over 2,600 MWh to date.
